Roma Arte in Nuvola
Overview
Andrea Festa is pleased to announce its participation in the 2024 edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola. For this occasion, the gallery presents a dynamic and intergenerational group presentation featuring works by RF. Alvarez, Sinead Breslin, Mary DeVincentis, Silvia Giordani, Emiliana Henriquez, Sebastián Hidalgo, Jiajia Wang, Kazuhito Kawai, Yann Leto, and Alexander Skats.
Spanning painting, sculpture, ceramics, and drawing, the selected works reflect a shared intimacy and deep engagement with themes of identity, memory, and human experience. Each artist offers a unique visual language, inviting the viewer into a space of contemplation and connection—between personal history and collective feeling, between internal emotion and external form.

Andrea Festa is pleased to announce its participation in Roma Arte in Nuvola 2024, taking place from November 22 to 24, 2024. An exclusive preview for collectors will be held on November 21 at 12:00 PM.
For this occasion, the gallery will present works by RF. Alvarez, Sinead Breslin, Mary DeVincentis, Silvia Giordani, Emiliana Henriquez, Sebastián Hidalgo, Jiajia Wang, Kazuhito Kawai, Yann Leto, and Alexander Skats.
The presentation spans a wide range of expressive media—from figurative and abstract painting to sculpture and ceramics—but all share a central element: a deeply personal and intimate approach to themes of identity, memory, and human experience. Each work invites reflection, becoming a meeting point between the universal experiences of the viewer and the personal narratives of the artist.
The Artists
RF. Alvarez (Austin, TX) is known for his figurative works using a dry brush technique on raw linen. He has exhibited with leading galleries such as Almine Rech (Paris), Taymour Grahne Projects (London), and Alanna Miller Gallery (New York). His work has been featured in The New York Times and Cultured Magazine, among others.
Sinead Breslin creates abstract compositions that explore universal emotions and perceptions. Her work is included in prestigious public collections such as the Alex Katz Foundation, San Antonio Museum of Art, Hudson Valley Maco, Palazzo Monti, Villa Gaeta, X Museum (Shanghai), and Xiao Museum (Suzhou).
Mary DeVincentis, inspired by Buddhist philosophy, intertwines themes of suffering and redemption through allegorical figures. She has shown at Monya Rowe Gallery and Freight + Volume (New York), and her work has been reviewed in ARTFORUM and Artribune.
Silvia Giordani draws inspiration from anthropized landscapes and monolithic forms. She participated in Taipei Dangdai 2024 and was awarded the Veneto Region Contemporary Art Prize (2024).
Emiliana Henriquez explores emotional vulnerability and shared human experiences. She has exhibited at Fortnight Institute (New York) and Half Gallery (Los Angeles), and participated in major fairs including The Armory Show and Felix Art Fair.
Sebastián Hidalgo, based in Cholula, Mexico, creates intricate mandalas and meditative atmospheres inspired by the richness of Mexican tradition. His works have been exhibited at Fortnight Institute and are part of the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection.
Jiajia Wang merges tradition and contemporaneity, reinterpreting classical Chinese Shan Shui landscapes with a modern sensitivity. Her works are part of renowned collections such as Xiao Museum (Suzhou), Kavalan Foundation, and the Aurora Museum (Shanghai).
Kazuhito Kawai explores themes of fragility and resilience through ceramics. His works have been presented at fairs such as Art Basel and Frieze Los Angeles, and are included in important collections like the Loewe Collection, the Takahashi Collection, and most recently, the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Yann Leto, known for his theatrical and socially critical narratives, is represented in high-profile international collections including Fundación DKV, CAC Málaga, Fondazione Benetton, Sergio Ramos Collection, Luis Adelantado, MoMA San Francisco, Fundación Mardel, and the Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection.
Alexander Skats reflects on the nature of images in the digital age, transforming everyday subjects into introspective works. He has exhibited with Tang Contemporary (Hong Kong), Obra (Malmö), and Specta (Sweden), and notably completed a public commission for Uppsala City Hall in Sweden (2021).
