Lying in a meadow, a figure of unknown identity observes the surrounding landscape. In front of her stands a red pyrus plant, emerging forcefully and taking over the scene, reaching toward her until it nearly touches her. In the background, barely visible, a small circus suggests the existence of another narrative in the second plane. The circus was not planned at the beginning: it surfaced during the painting process through overlaps and stains. I therefore decided to follow that form and develop it, letting it become part of the image.
