My paintings depict places that, although devoid of human traces, seem to be ever-changing, as if pervaded by a natural force that animates them. I explore the threshold between the visible and the hidden, the physical and the imagined — fragments of unexplored realities that challenge our perception of the world.
Silvia Giordani

Silvia Giordani (b. 1992, Vicenza) is a painter based in Venice, Italy. Her practice explores the landscape as a suspended, enigmatic space, uninhabited by humans yet animated by ambiguous organic forms. Working primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas, she creates compositions where gradients of light and chromatic openings evoke thresholds between physical and imagined worlds. Influenced by science fiction and dystopian literature, Giordani’s work investigates the boundary between the real and the unreal, inviting immersive contemplation. She has exhibited widely across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and is the recipient of the 2024 Contemporary Art Award of the Veneto Region.
