Mary DeVincentis

Mary DeVincentis is a Brooklyn-based painter whose deeply personal iconography investigates the universal dilemmas and mysteries of human existence. Her work integrates influences from Western modernism, post-modernism, Buddhism, psychotherapy, and classical South Asian and Tibetan art. Through ongoing series such as Dark Matters and Sin Eaters, DeVincentis explores the shadowy aspects of human experience and society’s marginalized figures. Her recent exhibitions include Circle Game (Andrea Festa Fine Art, Rome, 2024) and Wild Awake (Freight and Volume, NYC, 2023). She holds a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Printmaking from St. Martin’s College of Art, London.
