Jiajia Wang's paintings compress the chaos of the digital age into charged, multi-layered visions where pop culture collides with painterly tradition.
Jiajia Wang (b. 1985, Beijing, China) creates vibrant, densely layered works that merge digital collage, gestural abstraction, and silkscreen printing. Drawing on art history, comics, animation, and the omnipresent imagery of the internet age, his paintings balance urgency and contemplation, tradition and experimentation. A graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, Wang’s work reflects a generation shaped by television, video games, and the accelerating pace of urban life. He lives and works between Beijing and London.
