This painting belong to a series of painting about night, ambience bars, and coffees. There are two things I love to do when I travel for work or for pleasure.
The first one is going to a stadium to see soccer or sports in general. I love to discover the personality of a city through this…And the second one he’s going to bars and restaurant and spend time there to take some reflection ideas and add experience to my artist practice.
In this painting, we can see both of this (the tv is on behind the scene). I love to imagine some narrative and affective experience and in this case, we can see a small note Who has a lot of importance in the concept of these piece. I love to resolve the situation in a small and not significative detail so the public can imagine his own experience. What happens there? It seems to be that the client has wanted to invite this woman to a drink, but she let a note to let the things clear…
I love to imagine that the spectator is leaving the same scene than me and everyone is free to consider the importance of not of what it’s happening there. For me is the magic of the painting, the freedom of the painter to express personal experience or share his vision of the others. Not critic, just express thebeauty of the moment.
