In Bronco (Blitz), Nicholas Moenich constructs a tense and vibrant abstract landscape where geometric rigidity clashes with almost cybernetic organic forms. The work is structured upon a complex grid of prisms and sharp-edged tiles, painted with a rich variety of greens, petrol blues, and sulfur-yellow accents that create a sense of fragmented architectural depth.
This geometric severity is interrupted by plum-colored tubular volumes, rendered with a metallic chiaroscuro so flawless they appear extruded or 3D-modeled. These curvilinear elements seem to weave through the folds of the composition like cables or tensed muscles, giving the painting a dynamic energy and an aesthetic that flirts with Futurism and digital design. The result is a magnetic balance between formal precision and a subterranean organic restlessness.
