A figure caught in a moment of quiet vulnerability: the body does not present itself, it withdraws. The face is hidden, the shoulders curve inward, while the hands gather in a gesture that feels almost protective. The green coat, dotted with small pale marks, becomes a kind of shelter—a soft barrier between the self and the outside world.
The scene, immersed in cool, watery tones, amplifies a sense of suspension and silent unease. Nothing explicit happens, yet everything vibrates with inner tension: it is the language of micro-gestures, of someone who experiences encounters with others as uncertain ground.
The work visually translates that intimate and universal instant in which identity contracts, seeking protection when faced with a social space perceived as unfamiliar.
