Pedro Liñares (b. 1988) is a Brazilian artist who lives and works between Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro. He studied Visual Arts at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and was awarded a scholarship at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. He later completed a Master’s degree in Multimedia Art at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.

His practice is grounded in a non-narrative approach, exploring how visual information can be reconfigured to generate new meanings. His work investigates the relationship between painting and everyday experience, offering nuanced reflections on contemporary reality—foregrounding its complexity and the ambiguity of perception through an intimate and personal lens.
