Through delicate glazes of gouache, Dispenza portrays the face not as a symbol of defeat, but as a territory of rediscovered truth. It is the moment where vulnerability does not contradict strength but completes it, revealing the necessary "crack" through which the individual reclaims their emotional wholeness.
